Long Text Summarizer

Summarize long documents and transcripts. Every point shows where it came from.

Drop a PDF, Word file or subtitle file, or paste an article or a meeting or video transcript. Pick a TL;DR, bullet brief, chapters, action items or Q&A. No API key needed - pay per run with credits, and see the price before you run.

Summary

Length

Add a text, pick a format, press Summarize.

Each point ends with a section tag like §3. Click it to read that part of your text. Sections the summary never draws on are flagged, so you know what was left out.

How it works

  1. Read in your browser. PDFs, Word files, subtitles and pasted text are parsed on this page. Transcripts keep their timestamps and speakers.
  2. Cut into numbered sections. Each section remembers its page, heading or time, and you get a free profile and skim at once.
  3. Summarize in one pass or in parts. Up to about 140,000 characters (a 70-page report) goes in one run. Longer texts are read in parts that write notes, then the notes become your summary. Switching format later costs only that final step.
  4. Check the result. Every point cites its sections. The page flags tags that point nowhere, points with no tag, and sections nothing in the summary draws on.
